Yinying Luo, Organist and Associate Minister of Music

Yinying Luo is the Organist and Associate Minister of Music at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church. After growing up in China, Yinying enrolled in Agnes Scott College, a Presbyterian College in Georgia, not intending to pursue a career in music. Discovering a love for the organ, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. She then won scholarships for continued study at the Juilliard School in New York City, where she earned a master’s degree in organ performance. After a year’s service as organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Santa Barbara, California, Yinying completed a master’s in church music at Baylor University. She applied for the position at Montview while pursuing the highest level of organ studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold, Germany. She has given organ recitals in China, California, Georgia, New York, and Germany.
