Due to the pandemic, the Montview Mitten Tree and Coat Drive had to make a pivot. We moved the collection point to a front porch in Park Hill and invited the Park Hill community to participate as well as Montview folks. We collected 322 items including 75 coats and 85 handmade items from the Montview knitters. The children’s items went to Hallett School in Park Hill and the adult items went to Montview partners Women’s Homelessness Initiative and Senior Support Services, plus other programs serving people experiencing homelessness.
