Peter Hulac, Minister of Visitation
Peter Hulac is the Minister of Visitation at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church. He has served in this position since 2013.
Peter spent much of his youth in Denver, where his father was the pastor of two churches in the presbytery. His family moved to Philadelphia, PA when he was in high school. He graduated from Temple Medical School and then returned to Denver, where he specialized in neonatology. He worked at Kaiser Permanente and then at the CU School of Medicine, where he also served on the bioethics faculty. He fully retired from medicine in 2015.
While still at Temple, Peter attended a church whose organist was named Barbara Laverty. Within just a few days in June, 1971, Barbara graduated from Westminster Choir College, he graduated from Temple, they got married and then moved to Denver. They joined Montview soon after getting to town. Montview has been their church home for all these years, and their kids have also grown up here. Peter really appreciates working with the other Montview staff members. He is moderator of Denver Presbytery for 2021. His special joys are growing tomatoes and watching grandchildren grow up.
