This past weekend teams of volunteers from Montview helped sort 2,000 pounds of beans and rice into meal-sized bags that will be distributed through Metro Caring’s food pantry. The first shift was an inter-generational group. The second shift was comprised of families from Pack 34, a scouting group sponsored by Montview. Working in a large warehouse, the volunteers followed all COVID precautions, and managed to have a lot of fun and laughter as they helped support one of Montview’s beloved mission partners.
