Montview’s Annual Christmas Concert
December 8 | 4:00pm (Sanctuary)
Our beloved annual musical tradition continues: Montview’s Symphonic Christmas Concert with the Choirs and Orchestra of Montview. Featured on this year’s program is a performance of British-composer Gerald Finzi’s masterwork, In Terra Pax, with special solos by two wonderful musicians who have grown up at Montview: Soprano Jayden Greicius and Baritone Caleb Meyerhoff (who will be flying in for the weekend from Eastman School of Music). Also included on the program are favorites by John Rutter, George Frederic Handel and Robert Shaw – along with our annual “Story of Silent Night” performance.
Admission is free and made possible in part by Montview’s Sacred Concert Fund. Seating is first-come, first-serve.
Westminster Choir
Frequently thought of as “the church within the church,” Montview’s globally toured Westminster Choir is both the cornerstone of weekly worship music for the Montview congregation, and the cornerstone of the Montview experience for the choir’s 80+ congregational volunteer members. The choir rehearses Thursday nights and sings for worship Sunday mornings, September – June. The choir is led by Minister of Music Adam Waite (conductor) and Associate Minister of Music Yinying Luo (accompanist).

Instrumental
From our 4,000+ pipe four-manual sanctuary organ to our five-octave bell choir, Montview is fortunate to be able to share these beautiful sounds in our weekly worship. We also regularly invite musicians from the Denver community into our worship, including members of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and jazz faculty from Metro State.
Montview Conservatory and Dramatic Arts
For over three decades, the volunteer led Musique and Masque has staged community theatre productions in our Miller Chapel. Montview also offers midweek Conservatory classes for Children and Youth in music and dramatic arts.
