Lorraine Leist, Associate Pastor for Congregational Care and Older Adults
Lorraine Leist is the Associate Pastor for Congregational Care and Older Adults at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church. Prior to joining Montview, Lorraine served as a palliative care chaplain at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ and an advanced board-certified chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. She has worked in acute care chaplaincy for twelve years in Colorado and Washington, specializing in palliative care. At First Congregational Church Boulder she helped to develop a Ministry of Last Things intended to help people prepare for aging and the end of life. In addition, she taught as Affiliate Faculty for the California State Shiley Institute for Palliative Care and served as a congregational minister. Lorraine received her B.A. from Wellesley College and her M.Div. and D.Min. from Iliff School of Theology. She enjoys walking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
