Jennifer Seward, Mission Life Coordinator
Jennifer Seward is the Mission Life Coordinator at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church. In this position, she coordinates the many mission partner programs at Montview that are focused on building a more peaceful, just and compassionate world. An ardent supporter of hunger relief and homelessness efforts, Jen enjoys volunteering with Metro Caring, Project Homeless Connect, the Women’s Homelessness Initiative and Habitat for Humanity. She is the founder and manager of the Critical Needs/Food Pantry program at Northfield High School and received the Nutrition Leadership Award from Denver’s Be Well Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative for her work to alleviate food insecurity in Northeast Denver.
Jen has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Denver and is a freelance writer and magazine editor. She has published more than 100 articles on architecture, engineering and the built environment, was editor-in-chief of an architecture magazine and co-authored a book on school design. An “almost native” Jen enjoys exploring Colorado’s peaks and parks with her husband, two teens, Roxie the neurotic Labradoodle and a rescue pup named Louie.
