Connect
While Montview is a very large church, there are numerous ways to connect with others, form meaningful and lifelong friendships, and make Montview your spiritual home.
Children (Birth – 5th Grade)
Our Sunday School offering for children in preschool through 5th grade is interactive and generative. We share stories of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible in appreciation and curiosity. We encourage children to consider these words in age-appropriate ways through questioning and creating. Discussion and art-making are part of our weekly study.
Small Groups
Fellowship groups are available for all ages and offer a chance to get to know others at the church with similar interests or who are at a similar place in life.
Youth (6th – 12th Grade)
Youth at Montview (aka YAM) is a community of teens, grades 6th – 12th, who come together from around the Denver area, where all are welcomed as beloved children of God. Our programs are designed to be a safe place to form meaningful friendships, explore faith and discipleship, and participate in beloved community. Throughout the year we have time for fellowship, service, faith formation, and spiritual growth.
You are enough. You are loved. You are not alone.
Adult Faith Formation
Montview offers a variety of ways for adults to explore and nurture their relationship with God in Jesus Christ. In-person and virtual opportunities are offered throughout the liturgical year to learn scriptural, theological, and historical foundations of the Christian faith, to engage in spiritual practices for personal growth, and to experience meaningful connections in small groups. Formats include traditional lectures, small group Bible study and discussion, topical studies, book groups, and retreats. Montview is privileged to draw from a diversity of scholars and experts as well as qualified lay members to teach and facilitate classes.
Music & Arts
Our music program takes an original approach to the re-examination of Christianity as expressed in musical art. We do this through performances, teaching at rehearsals and the composition of original works, large and small.
