Rev. Colleen Maki, Youth Ministry and Young Adult Fellow

Rev. Colleen Maki (they/them) is the Youth Ministry and Young Adult Fellow at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church. The Youth Ministry and Young Adult Fellowship is a newly created position and will support our Youth at Montview. Working about 10 hours a week, this fellowship is designed to enrich our ministry through program support and relational leadership, while offering the Fellow an opportunity for vocational growth in youth ministry.

Colleen brings a warm spirit, creative insights, and a heart for creating spaces where our young people can feel authentic in their faith and life. Colleen grew up in Northern Minnesota and now lives in Park Hill with their husband, Nick, and dog, Ella. They attended Vanderbilt Divinity School and were ordained by Glendale Baptist Church (affiliated with the Alliance of Baptists and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship).

In their free time, Colleen enjoys crafting, thrifting, swimming, and traveling. Their most recent trip was to Palestine to learn more about non-profits that are working for peace and justice in the Holy Land. They have also hiked part of the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
