Clover Reuter Beal, Co-Pastor

Clover Reuter Beal is a Co-Pastor at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church. After careful discernment and intrigue about a co-pastorate model of senior leadership, Clover came to Montview in the fall of 2015. Aware of Montview’s national reputation as a strong, healthy and engaged church in both justice work and spiritual formation, serving at Montview was a natural fit for Clover’s own calling and experiences in ministry. She feels honored to be a pastor in such a compelling congregation.

Clover received a B.A. in Religion from Seattle Pacific University in Seattle, WA in 1985 and a M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA in 1991. Before coming to Montview, she served for eleven years as Associate Pastor of Lay Leadership Development at Forest Hill Church, Presbyterian in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Prior to that, Clover served as a campus minister at Case Western Reserve University and Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL.

In her free time, Clover enjoys drinking coffee, watching good t.v., reading, hearing people’s stories (which is always like reading a good book), and laughing really, really hard with funny people. She loves hanging out with her family most of all and, though reluctant, has started to exercise.
