Adult Faith Formation
Montview offers a variety of ways for adults to explore and nurture their relationship with God in Jesus Christ. In-person and virtual opportunities are offered throughout the liturgical year to learn the scriptural, theological, and historical foundations of the Christian faith, to engage in spiritual practices for personal growth, and to experience meaningful connections in small groups. Formats include traditional lectures, small group Bible study and discussion, topical studies, book groups, and retreats. Montview is privileged to draw from a diversity of scholars and experts as well as qualified lay members to teach and facilitate classes.
Our 2024 Distinguished Lectureship was with Dr. Jemar Tisby on October 26-27. Jemar Tisby is the author of the New York Times bestselling book, The Color of Compromise and How to Fight Racism. His new book, The Spirit of Justice, will also be available for purchase. Dr Tisby is Professor of History at Simmons College of Kentucky in Louisville. Learn more at www.montview.org/tisby.
