The evening of Saturday, September 26th Montview invited Sarah Jackson, founder of Casa de Paz to share her insights from her book, The House that Love Built. Casa has helped over 3,000 people who were released from the Aurora Detention Center to be welcomed to safety and to become reunited with family and friends. Longtime member Dennis Cole noted, “I enjoyed learning about Casa de Paz and Montview’s participation in this mission. It’s nice to know that we are giving a hand to those whose lives have been disrupted by government policies.” Sarah’s book is available through www.casadepazcolorado.org/book.
