Dr. Jemar Tisby is a New York Times bestselling author, historian, and educator whose work explores the intersection of race, religion, and social change. He is the author of three books, including his most recent, The Spirit of Justice, and has been featured in The New York Times, CNN, The Washington Post, and other national media. Tisby Studios, his production and storytelling company, creates documentary films, courses, and other media that equip people to pursue truth-telling, repair, and justice.
MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: ANTI-RACISM TRUST TEAM
Montview’s Anti-Racism Trust Team (ARTT) sets concrete anti-racism goals and provides opportunities to learn about anti-racism as a community of faith. This fall, ARTT again will offer Zoom small group video studies on The Color of Compromise, or How to Fight Racism by Dr. Jemar Tisby to develop an expanded understanding of race and racism personally and in our church history.
