Prelude
Welcome
*Call to Worship (Based on Psalm 105)
Leader: Give thanks to the Lord; call upon God’s name,
People: Make God’s deeds known to all the people!
Leader: Let us sing God’s praises! Let us tell of God’s wonderful works!
People: Glory is God’s holy name! Let those who seek the Lord rejoice!
Leader: Let us lift our voices in praise and thanksgiving,
All: For great is the Lord, our God, faithful to a thousand generations!
*Gathering Hymn 645 Sing Praise to God Who Reigns Above, vs. 4
*Corporate Confession (Unison)
For the times we have misused your creation,
And neglected your handiwork…
For the times when we have used your gifts carelessly,
And acted ungratefully…
For the times we have ignored the cries of the hungry,
And forgotten our abundance…
For the times we have stored up goods for ourselves,
And hoarded blessings meant to be shared…
Forgive us,
Through Jesus Christ, who gave all,
That we might learn to do likewise.
Amen.
*Assurance of God’s Love
*Response Gloria
*Passing of the Peace

*The Baptismal Creed (Unison)
In life and in death we belong to God. Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, we trust in the one triune God, the Holy One of Israel, whom alone we worship and serve. We trust in Jesus Christ, fully human, fully God. We trust in God, whom Jesus called Abba, Father. We trust in the Holy Spirit, everywhere the giver and renewer of life. With believers in every time and place, we rejoice that nothing in life or in death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Glory be to the Creator, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen. (Excerpted from A Brief Statement of Faith.)
The Presentation
