GRADUATING SENIORS 2023

Cameron Alcorn
Cameron is graduating from Arvada West High School. Next year he’ll be attending Colorado School of Mines, majoring in electrical engineering. Cameron’s also planning to continue playing his saxophone with the Colorado School of Mines Jazz Band. He looks forward to participating in this summer’s work trip to Puerto Rico!

Claire Arney
Claire is graduating from Colorado Academy. She will attend Vanderbilt University in the fall where she plans to major in chemistry and Spanish.

Charles Evans
Charles is graduating from Denver School of the Arts. He has enjoyed playing violin for the Montview community the past several years. Next year, he plans to attend San Diego State University and major in business.

Abe Harder
Abe is graduating from East High School. He will be attending CU Boulder in the fall and is interested in studying psychology. Abe has attended Montview since an early age and participated in many programs in the Church and on work trips.

Sophia Lee
Sophia is graduating from Northfield High School. Before she hits the books at Metro State University to study criminology, she’ll be found in Oregon learning to fight fires, the real kind, at an all women’s program.

Zachary Matchett
Zachary is graduating from East High School. After spending the past two summers traveling to over nine international countries, Zach is planning to spend this summer lifeguarding, spending time with friends and family, traveling locally and, hopefully, relaxing before heading to CU Boulder in the fall. Zach recently earned his Scout Eagle Rank by completing a construction project at the Cherry Creek Dog park which added three new agility obstacles for the dogs.

Adam Richardson
Adam is graduating from Northfield High School, where he was a participant on the Mountain Bike Team and co-founder of the Board Game Club. He will be attending the University of Kansas, School of Architecture and Design.

Allison Sanders
Allison is graduating from Stargate School, where she was captain of the school’s Mountain Bike Team, president of the Environmental Club, and a National Honor Society member. She was active at Montview as a Youth Deacon, member of the Earth Care committee, and gave a sermon on Youth Sunday. Allison has enrolled in AmeriCorps’ NCCC program based in Sacramento and will study environmental engineering at CU Boulder beginning in the fall of 2024.

Anabel Whiteside Renz
Anabel is graduating from Northfield High School where she enjoyed her AP Art classes most. Anabel has been active at Montview since she was young, participating in Sunday School, Confirmation, JAM and MOB and serving as the Youth Elder with Session in 2022. She will be taking a gap year to serve in an inclusive community that supports adults with intellectual disabilities near Philadelphia, PA. She will attend Colorado State University in 2024, working toward a degree in psychology or sociology.

Frank Willius
Frank is graduating from Northfield High School and is headed to California Lutheran University to play baseball, study psychology, and enjoy the surf. Frank’s Montview highlights include the Miami work trip in 2019 and haunted corn maze visits.
