*Opening Prayer
*Corporate Confession (Unison)
Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you
in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done, and by what we have left undone.
We have not loved you with our whole heart;
we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
We are truly sorry and we humbly repent,
for the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us;
that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways,
to the glory of your name. Amen.

The Road Home
Stephen Paulus (1949-2014)
Tell me, where is the road I can call my own,
That I left, that I lost, So long ago?
All these years I have wandered, Oh, when will I know
There’s a way, there’s a road That will lead me home?
After wind, after rain, When the dark is done.
As I wake from a dream In the gold of day,
Through the air there’s a calling From far away,
There’s a voice I can hear That will lead me home.
Rise up, follow me, Come away, is the call,
With the love in your heart As the only song;
There is no such beauty As where you belong:
Rise up, follow me, I will lead you home.

RESPONDING TO GOD’S GRACE
Making a financial gift makes Montview’s programs and ministries possible, including this worship service. You are invited to give generously at www.montview.org/giving or by texting a dollar amount to 720-452-6449. Offering plates are stationed at the exit for cash and checks.
God, you have so greatly loved us, long sought us, and mercifully redeemed us. Give us grace that in everything, we may yield ourselves, our wills and our works. A continual thank offering to you. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Reimagining Well-Being
October 3-November 21 | 9:30-10:30am
This will be a seven-week education series exploring the realities we face during the ebbs and flows of (the ongoing) pandemic life. We’ll examine the physical, spiritual, mental, and social aspects of well-being and begin to imagine who we might be or become together. We’ll explore the meanings of each term as they represent facets of what it means to experience wholeness. We will chart a path forward for our lives together.

We dedicate ourselves and our church to follow the Spirit of Christ by word and deed.
