Sandy Prouty, Minister of Children and Families

Sandy Prouty is the Minister of Children and Families at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church. Drawn to the idea of being an educator in a religious setting, Sandy was particularly attracted to the way the Montview community placed value in children, art, and faithful curiosity.  She views Montview as a wonderful place for all ages to learn and grow.

Prior to joining the Montview staff, Sandy was an elementary school teacher for grades K-3 and taught art for community groups that ranged from preschoolers to seniors.  She has a bachelor’s and a master’s in Education and was an elementary school administrator for many years. 

When she isn’t working, Sandy enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading, and making art (if time remains).
