DESCRIPTION:Montview holds its annual evening service of music and prayer in observance of Ash Wednesday to mark the beginning of the season of Lent. This season is the 40-day period between Ash Wednesday and Easter (excluding Sundays) that calls upon Christ’s 40 days in the desert and is intended for our personal inward reflection and examination. The journey inward during Lent prepares us to more fully embrace Easter.
