Children’s Choirs

About 100 young people, ages 5 – 18, share in the work of this ministry. All children’s choirs include training in basic singing and music reading skills. One goal of this training is the development of young persons as leaders in worship and as communicators of the Christian perspective.

Cantate Choir (Grades Kindergarten – Second)

Meets Sundays, 9:30 – 10 a.m. in the Children’s Choir Room, led by John Kuzma and assisted by Heidi Shriver and student aides. Cantate Choir sings four times each season at 11 a.m. worship and for special church school services.

Timbrel Choir (Grades Three – Eight)

Meets Sundays, 4 – 5 p.m. in the Children’s Choir Room, led by John Kuzma and assisted by Martha Fiser and Andrea Till. Timbrel Choir sings six times each season at 11 a.m. worship, and at concerts with combined choirs and orchestra.

Jubilate Choir (Grades Nine – Twelve)

Meets Sundays, 5 – 6 p.m. in the Westminster Choir Room – led by John Kuzma and assisted by Martha Fiser. Jubilate Choir sings six times each season at 11 a.m. worship, and at concerts with combined choirs and orchestra.
